Semiconductor Research
Stan Bruederle is a research vice president
within the Semiconductor Applications group where his
research focus area is Wireless Communications.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Bruederle was manager
of corporate strategic planning for Signetics (now Philips
Semiconductor). He also held positions as division marketing
manager for Signetics' Bipolar LSI Division and held
other marketing management positions at Signetics and
Motorola Semiconductor.
Mr. Bruederle received his Bachelor of Science degree
in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
He has also completed work toward a master of business
administration degree at Arizona State University and
has completed coursework in topics related to telecommunications
engineering from the University of California, Berkeley
extension program.

Bryan Lewis is a Research
VP and Chief Analyst for Gartner Research. Mr. Lewis
joined Dataquest in 1985 and founded Dataquest's ASIC/SOC/FPGA
research.
He has responsibility for tracking and evaluating market
movements, forecasting markets, and tracking technology
trends.
Mr. Lewis received a bachelor of science degree in marketing
from the University of Oregon.

Moderator: Chris Webber, Vice President, Automotive
Electronics & Telematics Practice, Strategy Analytics
Chris Webber has over 20 years experience
in technical, marketing and management roles specializing
in providing analysis of business opportunity and market
demand trends for electronic systems, semiconductors
and sensors for in-vehicle control electronics, telematics
and entertainment applications.
Most recently, he has been instrumental in conceiving
and launching the Strategy Analytics industry-leading
In-vehicle Telematics & Multimedia (ITMS) market
analysis service. He has supported international marketing
and product development groups for leading vehicle makers
and their automotive electronic system and component
vendors.
Mr. Webber joined the Strategy Analytics Automotive
Electronics Service (AES) in 1989. Previous industry
experience includes semiconductor engineering and marketing
positions with Texas Instruments, and product development
at Rover Cars.
Mr. Webber has a BSc Honours Degree in Electrical &
Electronic Engineering and a Marketing Diploma (DipM)
from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is
a Corporate Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers
(MIEE) and Chartered Engineer (CEng), and also a member
of the US Society of Automotive Engineers.

Moderator: Paul O'Donovan, Principle Analyst
for Consumer and Emerging Technologies, Gartner Semiconductor
Group
Paul O'Donovan is a principal analyst
in Gartner Research, where he is part of the Emerging
Technology and Semiconductor research group. Mr. O'Donovan
specializes in digital video technologies for the mass
consumer market, including interactive and business-to-consumer
technologies through the television and the emergence
of new consumer electronics trends, such as display
technologies and home networking.
Mr. O'Donovan has worked in the semiconductor industry
for 19 years. Prior to joining Gartner, he worked at
National Semiconductor in the U.K. and German headquarters,
where he was responsible for its EMEA digital logic
marketing through distribution.
Mr. O'Donovan studied sales and marketing at the Chartered
Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom.
